Shabu worth P1.02M seized

Police seized shabu worth more than P1 million and arrested a suspect during an anti-illegal drugs operation on Wednesday, 29 January in Payatas, Quezon City.

Batasan Police Station under PLt. Col. Romolus Gadaoni and his men from the Station Drugs Enforcement Unit arrested Dennis Pacanas, 38, of Barangay Payatas A after a poseur bought from him shabu worth P15,000.

The activity was launched following an information given to PLt. Jocel Calvario, who is assigned at the Batasan station.

Confiscated from Pacanas’ possession were 13 sachets of suspected shabu weighing about 150 grams, valued by the Dangerous Drugs Board at P1.02 million.

The suspect is now under the custody of the Batasan police station and is facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
