Chinese nationals maul guard

Police arrested two Chinese nationals after they took turns in mauling a security guard at a condominium in Las Piñas City the other night.

Col. Segundo Lagundi Jr., Las Piñas City police chief, identified the suspects as Li Feng Hau, 32 and Lem Liu, 32, both residents of Paseo Verde Condominium, Barangay Pulanglupa.

PMsgt. Marsito, case officer, said the two arrived at the said condominium unit where they are staying at around 11:45 p.m. when they saw the victim, security guard Carlo Dalaguit, 24.

Apparently, the two suspects took turns in mauling him, prompting him to seek the assistance of the police.

Responding policemen from Police Community Precinct-2 arrested the foreigners and brought them to the police station for the proper booking procedure.

Meanwhile, another Chinese national was arrested inside a bar along Alabang-Zapote Road in Barangay Almanza of the said city for physical injury and malicious mischief at around 5:30 a.m. yesterday.

The suspect, identified as Li Wenkang, 21, was accused by Arvin Daguplo, 34, bartender at the bar, of hurting him while inside the said establishment.

The suspect was also brought to the police station for the filing of appropriate charges.
