Customs-NAIA recognizes top importers

The Bureau of Customs (BoC) of NAIA (Ninoy Aquino International Airport) awarded 25 top importers with plaques of appreciation for their support to the port during its first Stakeholders’ Meeting for 2020.

BoC District Collector Carmelita M. Talusan presented the port’s achievements for 2019, highlighting the border protection initiatives and reforms of the port and the 10-point program of Customs Commissioner Rey Leonardo B. Guerrero.

All stakeholders’ issues and concerns were also discussed during the meeting.

Representatives from Samsung, Oppo, Pfizer, Louis Vuitton, Smart, Vivo, Ardent, Novartis, International Specialty Concepts, R. Espineli Trading, Rolex, Merck Sharp and Dohme IA, Hewlett Packard, Zuellig Pharma, VST-ECS Phils., Roche PH, Glaxosmithkline PH, Unilab, Johnson & Johnson and Metro Drug were present at the event.
