QC nets 1,000 law breakers

Eight men were booked for drinking alcohol in public places and nine others were cited for smoking in public places by the Masambong Police Station.

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) rounded up 1,020 violators of laws and city ordinances over the weekend.

At the La Loma Police Station (PS 1), under PLt. Col. Camlon Nasdoman, two men were apprehended for jaywalking while 191 others were cited for different traffic violations.

Eight men were booked for drinking alcohol in public places and nine others were cited for smoking in public places by the Masambong Police Station (PS 2), under PLt. Col. Rodrigo Soriano.

The Talipapa Police Station (PS 3) under PLt. Col. Benjamin Gabriel Jr accosted six men for smoking violations and 87 for different traffic violations.

The Novaliches Police Station (PS 4), under PLt. Col. Rossel Cejas, babbed six for smoking in public places and 221 for different traffic violations.

Also, the Fairview Police Station (PS 5), under PLt. Col. Jeffrey Bilaro nabbed 12 for different traffic violations.

The Batasan Police Station (PS 6), under PLt. Col. Romulus Gadaoni accosted, nabbed eight for drinking violations, 40 for smoking, 16 for roaming half-naked in public places, 30 for jaywalking, and two for urinating in public places.

In Cubao, PS 7 under officer-in-charge PMaj Fortunato Ecle Jr, accosted 40 for smoking in public places, while the Project 4 Police Station (PS 8), under PLt. Col. Sandro Jay Tafalla accosted 44 for jaywalking.

The Anonas Police Station (PS 9), under PLt. Col. Lucio Simangan Jr, accosted 16 for smoking in public places and 25 for jaywalking.

The Kamuning Police Station (PS 10), Galas Police Station (PS 11), and Eastwood Police Station (PS 12) also conducted similar operations.
