Suspects yield P680K worth of shabu

Three drug suspects yielded shabu amounting to P680,000 in a buy-bust operation on Friday afternoon in Caloocan City.

Quezon City Police District director PBrig. Gen. Ronnie Montejo identified the suspects as Rowena Reyes, 51, Elmer Jaromay, 32, and Danilo Tindugan, 43, all residents of Caloocan City.

The operation was conducted by the District Drug Enforcement Unit under PMaj. Timothy Aniway Jr, in coordination with Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-National Capital Region Office, and Police Community Precinct 3 of Caloocan City Police Station under PMaj. Jobie Astucia.

A poseur-buyer bought P110,000 worth of shabu from the suspects on 3 January at Bagong Silang, Caloocan City.

Confiscated from the suspects were approximately 100 grams of shabu with an estimated value of about P680,000 and the buy-bust money.

They are now facing charges in violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
