In celebration of the 70 years of bilateral relations between Philippines and Korea, the Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines (KCC) with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea spearheaded the one-night only cultural exchange “Guerilla K-Night 2019” at the Shangri-La Mall on 7 December.

Present to entertain fans and audience were dance cover group winners Yara, Teenage and Mix’in. Performances from local bands Kremesoda and Any Name’s Okay together with indie Korean synth pop band We Are the Night and SB19, the fast-rising Filipino idol group trained under a Korean management, impressed the audience.

“I really thank everyone here today for choosing to be with us on a Saturday. This is our last public event for the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the bilateral relations of the Philippines and Korea. This year, KCC has been preparing many events to celebrate it so that we can showcase Korean culture around the Philippines,” KCC director Lee jin-cheol said.

“Guerilla K-Night 2019” is one of the many activities KCC prepared aside from its exhibitions, film festivals and immersions. For more information on KCC, contact pr@koreanculture.ph or 8878-6319. Follow www.facebook.com/KoreanCulturalCenter and @kccphil on Instagram and Twitter.
