If you want to know more about Japan, you better pack your stuff and visit the Japan Fiesta 2019 that started and will end today in the heart of Taguig City.

Japan Fiesta is a first-of-its kind event of the Japanese Embassy in Manila that gives other nations the opportunity to discover the country and its rich culture.

Famous artists from the Philippines will star in performances as the two-day event is not only about introducing Japan but also giving visitors time to unwind and socialize with others.

Singer and actress Sarah Geronimo and TV host Robi Domingo headline the performers while famous YouTubers in Fumiya Sankai and Yamyam Gucong will take their acts to the fiesta’s stage.

Other performers include Aisaku Yokogawa, HPN3, BLACK, Wakodaiko, MNL48 and some e-Sports athletes.

Aside from the world-class productions with a touch of Japanese flavors, surprises await the participants.

Discounted airline tickets for a Japan visit will be offered during the gathering.

Product samples that came all the way from Japan will also get displayed while visitors can get a chance to play with and against semi-professional Japanese e-Sports athletes.
Lastly, an array of assorted Japanese cuisines will be paraded.

The event is being eyed as an avenue for both Japan and the Philippines to foster deep friendship.

It is organized through the cooperation of the members of the Japan Fiesta Council, such as the Embassy of Japan in the Philippines, Japan National Tourism Organization Manila Office, the Japan Foundation, Manila, the Japanese Association, Manila, Inc. and Primer Media, Inc.
