Treat yourself to a unique staycation with an all-night Gong Puja experience on 16 November at Rebel Yoga Manila from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. and drift into the cosmic sounds of the gong for deep healing.

The Gong Puja experience lasts about 7.5 hours which is the equivalent of 10 by 45 minute gong bath session. The normal length for a sound journey gong bath is 45 minutes.

Kundalini Yoga master Yogi Bhajan said that a 45-minute gong bath session would clear any immediate blocks and that 10 sessions would clear most blocks.

The Gong Puja promotes a deep sense of peace and well-being, strengthens the nervous system, balances the chakras and helps increase energy and vitality.

Things to bring are a water bottle, pillow, eye cover, light blanket and bedding the size of a yoga mat for a comfortable night’s sleep. Note that the sleeping space is the dimension of a yoga mat. Wear loose, comfortable clothing.

Contraindications are for women who are in their first and final trimester of pregnancy, children under the age of seven; any condition which is sound sensitive (tinnitus, menieres, epilepsy); metal implants and pacemaker that can resonate the metal and/or change the rhythm of the pacemaker; and those who are suffering from serious mental health condition.
