A day with the Becks

A select number of lucky Filipino football fans had a rare opportunity to mingle with one of football’s greatest players.
Former England captain David Beckham had a full day today, 13 October, as he started the day early with a football clinic at the McKinley Hill Stadium in Taguig.
Then after, he graced and shared his healthy lifestyle at the Live Better Expo in the adjacent Enderun Tent. He was joined by his fellow AIA and Philam Life brand ambassadors Nico Bolzico, Raymond Gutierrez, Will Dasovich and the expectant Solenn Heussaff.
He shared that he and his wife, Victoria Beckham, try to balance their time as public figures and parents to their four children, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper. The couple is fondly referred as “Posh and Becks,” a play at their monikers.
David praised Victoria, the equally popular, former member of all-girl group Spice Girls and who is known as “Posh Spice.” He described her as “understanding,” and that they try to be normal parents to their children.
Beckham was appointed as AIA global ambassador in 2017. He has been traveling the world and spreading AIA’s brand promise of “Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.”
David’s sleep tips and other wellness stories will be featured in the coming days in the Daily Tribune.
