The Philippines and Singapore mark 50 years of diplomatic relations this year and there’s no better way to celebrate and strengthen this relationship than through the things that the consumers of both countries love — food and shopping.
From 6 to 15 September 2019, Singaporium -— an exclusive lifestyle and food pop-up offers Manila consumers a chance to experience the tastes, sights, and spirit of the Lion City without leaving the metro.
Located at The Podium Mall in Ortigas Center, the pop-up will showcase 17 Singaporean brands from fashion, food and lifestyle sectors. It is organized by Enterprise Singapore, the government agency helping Singapore companies to grow and globalize.
For fashion and lifestyle, dress in the latest trends at clothing brands Our Second Nature and Her Velvet Vase; taste the luxuriously smooth, melt-in-your mouth chocolate from premium bean-to-bar chocolate maker Benns; indulge your inner child at toy design studio Mighty Jaxx and Singapore’s premier entertainment café Play Nation.
One can also customize their own special paper and leather goods at artisanal craftsmaker Bynd Artisan and get your Christmas inspirations at stationary and gift shop Klosh; before pampering yourself at the lion city’s favorite health and wellness brand OSIM and skincare and face spa company Porcelain and shop for premium products with a uniquely Singaporean flair, specially curated by Singapore Airline’s flagship retailer, KrisShop.
In food, Singapore’s favorite food and drinks will also be available at the pop-up to satiate the palates of Manila’s foodies and one can try the best customizable burgers at Wolf Burgers or a succulent satay — traditional skewered meat grilled over slow-burning charcoal at Jumain Sataysfaction.
The iconic Singaporean noodles from heritage noodle house, Ming Fa also takes center stage as Singapore’s take on iconic Western dishes at Collin’s, while healthy and fresh Halal-certified Mexican and Turkish food can be found at Stuff’d and the mouth-watering wok-fried rice bowls at Wok Hey. To wash down all that great food, there are ready-to-drink teas, soy drinks, and juices by Asian drink purveyor Yeo’s.
Visitors can also expect daily raffle prizes sponsored by participating brands at Singaporium. The grand draw prize is a 3D2N trip for two to Singapore.
To qualify for the grand prize, visitors who visit Singaporium just have to complete a list of simple tasks indicated on an activity card and drop their raffle stubs at the designated drop-off location. The winner will be announced on the closing day of the pop-up on 15 September 2019.
