LOOK: The lawmakers and their spouses at #SoNA2019



Aside from the promises and accomplishments to be delivered by the President, another much-awaited part of the annual State of the Nation Address (SoNA) is the red-carpet walk of lawmakers and their spouses, guests and other government officials.

Curious how they look like? Here are the photos captured by Daily Tribune photographers.

Actress and former Quezon City councilor Aiko Melendez arrives at the Batasang Pambansa with boyfriend, Zambales Vice Gov. Jay Khonghun. Melendez is wearing an Edwin Tan gown.

Sen. Risa Hontiveros in a contemporary Filipiniana made from piña fabric by Joel Acebuche. Sleeves are patterned after baro’t saya using textile woven in Kalibo and embroidered in Lucban.
