Heavy rains brought about by Tropical Storm “Falcon” the past week caused Angat Dam’s water level to rise again on Satuday, 20 July.

As of 6 a.m., Angat’s level was at 161.35 meters, according to the weather bureau’s Flood Forecasting and Warning Section.  Friday’s level was recorded at 160.16 meters.

La Mesa Dam also benefited at 73.21 meters, an improvement from the previous day’s 73.09 meters.

Angat and La Mesa dams are the major water supply source of Metro Manila and some areas of nearby Rizal, Cavite and Laguna.
