The Quezon City police arrested the suspect in the rape and killing of an 18-year-old Grade 12 student in Payatas last 7 June. The suspect was tagged as Elimond Domingo, 25, who lived in the same compound as the victim.

QC Police District chief Brig. Gen. Joselito Esquivel said the suspect was arrested in his rented room after investigation showed he was the one who stabbed to death Allison Dacillo, a native of Bicol.

The victim was found lying on her bed without her undergarment, with a post-mortem examination confirming she was raped. She sustained multiple stab wounds on her neck, left arm and left side of her body, suggesting the assailant is right-handed.

During investigation, neighbors of the victim were invited to the police criminal investigation office where the suspect appeared uneasy.

A dog tag worn by the suspect in a social media posting was found at the crime scene. A witness also saw him coming out of the victim’s house on the day of the assault.

The victim’s soiled underwear and shorts were found in the suspect’s rented room when he was allowed to go home before being arrested.

Meanwhile, the mobile phone and keys of the victim were recovered near a creek in Barangay Commonwealth where the suspect said he threw them.

A check showed the suspect has a standing warrant of arrest for another case.
