Ateneo de Zamboanga is integrating robotics in its grade school and high school curricula starting June.
It will be a component of the Technology and Livelihood Education in junior high school at the start of the new school year.
The grade school, meanwhile, will have it as part of its Computer Education classes.
The move ensures the students are set for a more exciting, explorative and interactive learning as Ateneo de Zamboanga deals with techFactors, Inc. in integrating Robotics in the Basic Education curriculum.
It is aimed to boost the development of 21st century skills among grade schoolers and junior high students by sharpening their skills in problem solving and collaboration with peers while nurturing their creativity and imagination.
The program is expected to boost the students’ interest in Information and Computer Technology-related courses as early as kindergarten.
