According to Yugatech, honestbee, a food and grocery delivery application that originated in Singapore, will temporarily be on pause but assured it would be back in no time.

“At honestbee Philippines, we value the relationship we have built with you,” a statement said.

“As we work with our headquarters toward bringing the total business to a healthy and sustainable level, we, unfortunately, need to temporarily pause our local operations until further notice. Thank you for understanding, and we apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused…” it added.

honestbee started delivering food and groceries in the Philippines at around the first quarter of 2017. And the response from the public was tremendous.

Over the Easter holiday, the company has sent out an announcement through its application platform saying: They will “bee right back.”

“We’re really sorry we can’t bee here for you right now. But don’t worry, we’re busy buzzin’ behind the scenes, so we can get back to serving you in no time! #BeeRightBack #BeeMissYou,” a statement said on its official Facebook page.

In addition, on 20 April, the company had initially released a statement saying that their system, due to an unknown reason, is down and unresponsive.

In January, the company also announced that it would “temporary pause” its partnership with FairPrice, an online supermarket based in Singapore.
