LRT-2 track laying

The railway track laying and installation of the electromechanical system (EMS) for the Light Railway Transit-2 (LRT-2) East Extension project kicked off yesterday in Santolan, Pasig City.
The integration of the EMS into the existing LRT-2 line will be completed in 2020.
Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade said that once the project is completed, travel time from Recto Avenue in Manila to Masinag, Antipolo will be reduced significantly.
