Cebu is now the second-best tourism and beach destination from among 255 islands in the world.
This was the verdict by 300,000 travelers, according to the Conde Nast Traveler’s annual survey.
Travelers highlighted the top beach choices, departing from the “hard party places” in Phuket, Thailand but included the up-and-coming dining and shopping destinations.
Camotes Island was singled out as an awesome place to experience the true island-off-the grid kind of life.
Camotes island has four towns namely San Francisco, Tudela, Poro and Pilar.
The availability of many direct international flights is also one of Cebu’s major features with the Mactan Cebu International Airport also named as one of Asia’s best airports.
Tulang Diot and Heaven Cave are also among the features of the Camotes island.
The Hermit’s Cove in the town of Aloguinsan has been favorite among foreign tourists and the Paradise Beach and Octavianoaradise beaches in Bantayan island as well.
