Township lifestyle comes to Pampanga




Imagine experiencing the same reinvigoration of Metro Manila’s upbeat communities of McKinley Hill, Uptown Bonifacio, Eastwood City and Newport City in Central Luzon.

Megaworld envisions Capital Town Pampanga to be a platform in Central Luzon for everyone to experience their celebrated township lifestyle. “Capital Town is poised to rise as the Premier Business District of the North. It takes cues from the company’s impressive track record of building vibrant township communities across various key cities of the country,” the company said in a statement.

“Just like how Megaworld transformed townships to vibrant lifestyle destinations as we know them today, Megaworld will rise in the north through Capital Town. Through this development, we are bringing the same world-class vision and lifestyle in McKinley, Eastwood and Uptown Bonifacio among others to Pampanga, where one can experience the live-work-play lifestyle that only Megaworld can offer,” Lozano said.

“Each of our townships has its own character,” claimed Harold Geronimo, Megaworld’s senior assistant vice president and head of Public Relations and Media Affairs. “What you will see in Pampanga will be totally different in terms of character, but has the same concept of a township. That’s one thing that makes us unpredictable as a developer.”

Within the township will be a six-hectare Shophouse District in Neoclassical architecture with Art Deco details, set to become the center of the city’s entrepreneurial ventures.

“We started selling the Shophouse District about a year ago, and now, I am happy to announce that this project is 99 percent sold out already,” Lozano said.

Recognizing the innate artistry and talents of the Pampangans, Capital Town will also house an Events Trade Hall and an Outdoor Amphitheater to showcase the Pampangans’ fine brand of craftsmanship.

Flagship condominium development

The first residential development in the township is the recently launched 12-story Chelsea Parkplace, the province’s gateway to Megaworld’s live-work-play lifestyle. The condo development takes inspiration from the charming brownstone apartment buildings of Manhattan. Its namesake is the iconic neighborhood of Chelsea, New York, a place overflowing with delis, coffee shops, restaurants and shopping boutiques.

Offering stunning views of the Capital Town Pampanga’s very own Casa de Emperador, Central Square, Museum & Mall and Shophouse District, Chelsea Parkplace exudes a dynamic vibe that blends with history and modernity all over the township.

All 193 units of the project will have balconies offering beautiful views of the township. Units range from Studio (from 29 to 31 square meters) to One-bedroom (from 41 to 45.5 square meters) and Two-bedroom (from 67 to 88 square meters).
