Adamson still a work in progress

Despite a perfect 4-0 start, Adamson University head coach Franz Pumaren said there’s still so much work to be done for his Soaring Falcons to be real title contender in Season 81 University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP).
And the point of emphasis of Pumaren is the attitude of his players.
The multi-title coach criticized his players’ lethargic performance in the early part of their 69-68 thrilling win over University of the Philippines (UP) last Wednesday to stay unscathed in the men’s basketball tournament.
“We drifted away from what we are supposed to do. We were kind of selfish,” Pumaren said.
“The players probably read social media too much that we’re so great at 3-0. I’ve been telling them 3-0 is nothing, 4-0 is nothing. Probably if we win the championship, we can act that way.”
