Palawan hospital opens Malasakit Center

Public health service in Palawan gets boost.

Special Assistant to the President (SAP) Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go led the opening of
the Malasakit Center at the Ospital ng Palawan on Sunday, 9 September.

Go unveiled the marker for the center witnessed by local officials and representatives from the private sector. He also handed a P5 million check from the Office of the President for the center.

Duterte’s aide said senior citizens will get an all-exclusive Special Malasakit Health cards for faster medical service to them.

Go visited patients at the hospital assuring them that the Malasakit Center will ease their burden of paying medical bills and medicines.

He gave the patients cash assistance and a mobile phone to one of them celebrating a birthday. Food donated by the Office of the Special Assistant to the President (OSAP) was also distributed to the patients.

Go promised to relay to the Department of Health Dr. Melecio Dy’s request for additional equipment.
