Toyota believes in the safety of its passengers, whether we buy their most premium cars or their base models. That is why, for their 30th Anniversary offering, it produced a Toyota Vios model that has 7-airbags wrapped around the cabin of the country’s most popular sedan.

The car company says this is also aligned with their efforts to introduce and educate the Filipino motorists on safety issues. Being the only model to achieve the coveted 5-star rating from the ASEAN New Car Assessment Program (NCAP) the Vios is probably the safest car in its segment. Safety features are all over the new Vios, including an Anti-Lock Brake System, Vehicle Stability Control and Hill Start Assist function.

But more than the sum of its parts, the new Vios also brings a dash of style and sport to your ride through its fresh overall look. Outside, a horizontally-oriented blackout grille emphasizes the model’s wider stance accentuated by its LED Daytime Running Lights that comes with a pair of Fog Lamps.

An improved outer design complements this striking appeal with bigger 16” alloy wheels, rear combination lamps with LED line guides and halogen projector headlamps. This dynamic silhouette running from bumper to trunk lid tapers smoothly into sleek redesigned spoilers and an aerostabilizing shark fin antenna exclusive to the high-grade variants.

Technology is not wanting in the new Vios starting with the Push Start and Smart Entry System and an Eco and Sport power modes. An Optitron meter gauge blends naturally into the Multi-Information Display at the vehicle’s dashboard. The integrated center panel also combines the automatic air-conditioning controls to the touch-screen display audio, allowing ease of access through Bluetooth, web link and USB connectivity.

Inside, the All-New Vios also provides ergonomic interiors for a relaxing drive through increased shoulder space, improved headrest shape and rear seats and noise insulation.

The new Vios is powered by a Dual VVT-i engine popular for its signature fuel efficiency.

The Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) and the 5-speed Manual Transmission of the All-New Vios ensures smooth acceleration while maintaining precise control of speed and brakes. The CVT variants are equipped with sequential shift and paddle shift for a sportier drive depending on the driver’s mood and preference.
