A low pressure area spotted east of Surigao City would bring rains in some parts of Mindanao, as the southwest monsoon continues to affect the country.
In its latest forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the LPA was estimated 715 kilometers east of Surigao City in Surigao del Norte.
The state weather agency said Western Visayas region, and the provinces of Mindoro, Zambales, Bataan, Cavite and Batangas will experience rains caused by the southwest monsoon.
