Two relatives in Meycauayan City had an impromptu reunion yesterday

But it wasn’t the kind of family reunion Filipinos are known for. The two bumped into each other…in jail, after being arrested by Bulacan police in two separate operations in the city’s Barangay Tugatog.

The first to fall in the hands of the authorities was Rudy Osorio, allegedly a drug pusher.

The police found sachets of suspected shabu in his possession, as well as a 45 cal. pistol.

In a separate operation, the police served a warrant of arrest against murder suspect Rodel Osorio, who was spotted in the same barangay. Aside from his existing murder rap, he is facing additional bribery charges after offering money to the arresting authorities in exchange for his freedom.

Upon questioning the arrested suspects, the police found out they were relatives. The only consolation they have is that they now have all the time in the world to talk about their younger days and bond closer together – in jail.
