Click-baited

If you fell for that ruse – of two “free plane tickets” up for grabs purportedly from Philippine Airlines — then the joke’s on you.
But fret not because flying high for free is one hell of an irresistible click-bait for which you can be forgiven for.
Likewise, airlines really do give free tickets, especially to frequent flyers.
Still, Googling away would have alerted anyone about the scam. After all, PAL is just 77 years old so how can it be giving two free tickets on its “83rd Anniversary?”
Wait there’s more. The scam has been going on for so long. In fact, PAL already had to issue a disclaimer in May of 2017 about it.
In last year’s version of the ruse, PAL was supposedly celebrating its 28th Anniversary. So there, you people had been warned.
