Tarseeto
Millennial mayor!

We’ve heard of shame campaigns against suspected criminals, but Cotabato City Mayor Cynthia Guiani-Sayadi has given her own a modern twist: posting it on Facebook Live.
The live video streaming shows suspects apprehended for alleged violation of the anti-fencing law or selling stolen items.
In the same clip, Sayadi issues this Duterte-like warning, particularly to snatchers: “Itigil nyo na yan! Not in Cotabato City. (Stop it! Not in Cotabato City).”
While the police has stopped a similar practice and the Commission on Human Rights frowns upon it, the lady mayor seems bent on pursuing her online shame campaign.
She insists she is not violating any law and that she is doing it to protect her constituents from crimes.
Her penchant for social media makes people wonder if the good mayor is a millennial.
It’s not clear though if she would also extend the campaign to other social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, Whatsapp or Viber.
