The Police Regional Office 2 (PRO2) inaugurated a water system facility at Camp Marcelo A. Adduru, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan, naming it “Danum Yo Pulis” as part of efforts to improve camp facilities and support police personnel.

The ceremony was attended by Police Major General Antonio P. Marallag Jr., director for research and development and a former PRO2 regional director, who served as guest of honor and speaker. Also present were Brig. Gen. Rhoderick L. Parallag, commander of the 502nd Infantry Brigade; Tuguegarao City Mayor Maila Rosario S. Ting-Que; and Peñablanca Vice Mayor Washington Taguinod.

Marallag said accessible water facilities are important to the welfare of police personnel. He noted that the project began during his previous leadership of PRO2 and welcomed its completion under the current administration.

He also urged personnel to focus on sincere effort and quality service, saying that doing one’s best matters more than being the best.

PRO2 chief Brig. Gen. Mariano C. Rodriguez reaffirmed the regional office’s commitment to initiatives that strengthen its capabilities and support its personnel. The ceremony included a ribbon-cutting and unveiling of the facility’s marker.
