Geely Motor Philippines brought together 20 owners of its all-electric EX2 in Alabang to discuss vehicle ownership, warranty procedures and after-sales support.

Arsenio Chavez Jr., technical, training and warranty manager of Geely Motor Philippines, led the discussion on battery electric vehicle ownership. He explained the warranty process and answered questions about the EX2’s features and technology.

The session dealt with concerns that owners may encounter after taking delivery of their vehicles. Unlike conventional gasoline-powered cars, electric vehicles use different mechanical and electrical systems that may be unfamiliar to first-time EV buyers.

Understanding warranty coverage and knowing where to seek technical assistance can help owners deal with questions that arise during everyday use.

Chavez said the company wanted its EX2 customers to have access to information and technical assistance beyond their initial purchase.

“Our EX2 owners are among the first in the country to make the switch to electric driving with Geely, and we want them to feel fully supported at every stage of ownership,” he said.

He added that similar sessions would help customers understand how their warranties and after-sales services work.

Apart from the technical discussion, Geely gave participants a preview of the Monjaro EM-i, which the company plans to introduce to a wider Philippine audience. Owners were able to examine the vehicle up close during the event.

The company also announced a new pink color option for the EX2. Only 200 units in this color will be available nationwide in 2026.

Another update concerned the company’s participation in the Autofocus Test Drive Festival from 12 to 15 November 2026. The event will allow prospective buyers to see Geely vehicles and take them out for test drives.

Participants also had access to official Geely GO merchandise during the gathering. The company discussed additional activities planned for its customers in the coming months.

The Alabang session was among the recurring owners’ activities organized by Geely Motor Philippines as part of its customer support program.

Such gatherings provide an opportunity for owners to raise concerns directly with company representatives rather than rely solely on dealership visits or online inquiries.

They also give the manufacturer a chance to hear from customers who already drive its vehicles, particularly as more motorists become familiar with battery electric technology.

With the EX2 now in the hands of local customers, the company is putting greater attention on technical assistance and owner education as it develops its electric vehicle business in the country.
