The next few weeks are shaping up to be one of the busiest release periods for fantasy, superhero, and sci-fi fans, with several major films, TV series, and books arriving before the year ends.

Leading the lineup is the third season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, premiering between 11 and 25 November, followed by the highly anticipated release of Suzanne Collins’ latest The Hunger Games novel, Sunrise on the Reaping, on 20 November.

Also debuting on 20 November is the third season of Disney+’s Percy Jackson and the Olympians, which will roll out through 11 December.

The holiday season will bring even bigger releases. Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday and Dune: Part Three are both set to hit theaters on 18 December, while the second season of HBO’s Harry Potter series is scheduled to premiere on 25 December.

The stacked schedule has sparked excitement across social media, with fans calling the coming weeks “peak season” for fantasy and comic book entertainment as multiple major franchises return almost back-to-back.
