TP advances environmental stewardship with coastal cleanup
Volunteers from business process outsourcing firm TP, formerly Teleperformance, collected more than 488 kilograms of solid waste during a coastal cleanup at the Las Piñas–Parañaque Wetland Park, corporate organizers announced.
The environmental drive formed part of the global Sustainable Shores World Cleanup Day, an initiative targeting marine pollution reduction and coastal ecosystem preservation across vulnerable shorelines.
Employee-volunteers from TP sites in EDSA, McKinley, Sucat and Molino logged nearly 200 volunteer hours alongside participants from partner organizations.
The event was organized by TP’s charitable arm, the Citizen of the World foundation, in partnership with environmental non-profit CORA Philippines and the France-Philippines United Action Foundation.
Organizers stated the activity aligns with broader corporate sustainability commitments, including programs targeted at environmental stewardship, waste management and local climate action.
The initiative supports several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, specifically SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and SDG 13 (Climate Action).
