Singapore-based global mobility technology company Multipolitan has raised $2 million in seed funding as it prepares to expand its technology operations in Manila and launch a travel management application worldwide.

The funding round, led by venture studio EmergentX, valued the company at $25 million before the investment, Multipolitan announced on 3 November 2026.

The fresh capital will support the December launch of the free Multipolitan App and the expansion of its private client business, which the company said has generated more than $4 million in net revenue in less than two years.

Founded by Nirbhay Handa, a former Henley & Partners executive, and Lee Smith, co-founder of Japanese fintech company Paidy, Multipolitan aims to simplify international travel and immigration processes through technology.

Its upcoming application will consolidate passport and visa information, immigration requirements, flight updates and travel documents into a single platform.

The system will use artificial intelligence and proprietary technologies, including INREX for immigration information, FlightIQ for real-time travel updates and Visa Connect for visa assistance.

“Travel involves managing passports, visas, insurance, and pre-arrival documents, on top of tracking flights,” Smith said. “Add a family with multiple passports and visas, and it quickly becomes overwhelming. Multipolitan removes the friction of traveling to, or living in, other countries.”

Multipolitan plans to establish an office in Manila and recruit mobile and full-stack developers to support its growing technology operations.

The company sees opportunities in the Philippines as more Filipinos travel, work, study and establish lives overseas.

“As more Filipinos travel, work, study, and build lives across borders, we see growing demand for clear, connected mobility support,” Handa said. “We expect the country to remain a key part of our expansion in Asia.”
