SM Supermalls has launched SM Active, a nationwide initiative bringing together its sports facilities, fitness programs and wellness activities under one brand to encourage more Filipinos to embrace active lifestyles.

Introduced on 28 October, SM Active expands the company’s existing SM Active Hub initiative by integrating sports facilities, community events and partnerships across its mall network.

The program includes 108 pickleball courts, 176 bowling lanes, three ice skating rinks and expanding jogging paths, alongside regular fitness activities and sports tournaments.

SM Supermalls president Steven Tan said the initiative builds on more than three decades of investments in recreational facilities and community programs.

GLIDING into an active lifestyle.

“For over 30 years, SM has invested in spaces and experiences that encourage Filipinos to move, play, and connect. Through SM Active, we are bringing these strengths together under one brand with a simple goal: to make active living more accessible, inclusive, and part of everyday life for communities across the country. As we continue to grow our ecosystem of facilities, partners, and programs, SM Active aims to become every Filipino’s gateway to a healthier and more active lifestyle,” Tan said.

The company said SM Active aims to provide opportunities for beginners, fitness enthusiasts and experienced athletes to participate in recreational activities, friendly competitions and organized sporting events.

By bringing these facilities and programs together, SM Supermalls hopes to make fitness and wellness more accessible to communities nationwide.
