PhilHealth warns public against exec impersonators
The Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth) warned the public, healthcare providers and partner institutions on Tuesday against unauthorized individuals posing as acting president and CEO Dr. Beverly Lorraine Ho to solicit money, donations, and unauthorized financial transfers.
The state health insurer clarified that neither Ho nor any official or employee of the agency is authorized to solicit funds, donations, or personal bank transfers from the public or institutional partners.
Agency officials confirmed that any message, call, email, or social media request seeking payments or financial aid under the name of PhilHealth or its leadership is fraudulent.
PhilHealth reminded the public that all official transactions and inquiries must be conducted exclusively through its PhilHealth Regional Offices or Local Health Insurance Offices.
The agency also advised the public to verify information solely through official communication channels, including its official website at www.philhealth.gov.ph, its 24-hour Corporate Action Center hotline at (02) 86622588, mobile hotlines, its official email address at actioncenter@philhealth.gov.ph, and verified social media accounts under
@PhilHealthOfficial on Facebook and @teamphilhealth on X.
Anyone who encounters suspicious communications claiming to represent the acting chief executive or any PhilHealth officer is urged to refrain from engaging and to report the incident immediately to the nearest regional office or the Corporate Action Center.
