Miss Earth Lebanon 2026 Norma Yamin has officially withdrawn from the international Miss Earth competition, citing concerns over her eligibility, alleged falsified documents, and financial commitments she claims were made without full disclosure of important information.

In an emotional statement shared on Instagram, Yamin revealed that her decision came after months of preparation for the prestigious environmental beauty pageant.

“I have made the difficult decision to withdraw from Miss Earth 2026,” she announced.

“After months of preparation, walking away is heartbreaking. This was never my intention.”

According to the Lebanese beauty queen, the withdrawal of Miss Earth Thailand several weeks earlier prompted her to investigate her own eligibility to participate in the international competition.

What she subsequently discovered, she claimed, raised serious questions about the circumstances surrounding her participation and the financial obligations she had undertaken.

Yamin alleged that she had been led into making financial commitments without being fully informed of the situation.

“Miss Earth Thailand’s withdrawal a few weeks ago prompted me to seek clarity about my own eligibility. In doing so, I discovered information that left me feeling manipulated into making financial commitments without knowing the full truth,” she explained.

The beauty queen further claimed that falsified documents were involved, prompting her to prioritize her principles over her ambition to compete internationally.

“I acted in good faith throughout this journey. Upon learning that falsified documents were involved…I chose to withdraw rather than compromise my integrity,” she stated.

Despite the controversy surrounding her withdrawal, Yamin emphasized that she was not holding the Miss Earth Organization responsible for her experience.

Instead, she expressed respect for the pageant’s established rules and regulations, stressing that these should be followed and upheld.

“I do not blame Miss Earth. I respect its rules and regulations and believe they must be upheld,” she clarified.

Her announcement comes amid concerns among some pageant followers over the withdrawal of international delegates from this year’s competition.

However, Yamin did not publicly identify the individuals allegedly responsible for the documents or provide further details about the financial arrangements mentioned in her statement.

She maintained that she possesses documentation and evidence supporting her account but cannot disclose additional information while legal matters remain ongoing.

“I have documentation and evidence supporting my experience. I will share more when ongoing legal matters allow me to speak openly,” she said.

While her Miss Earth journey has come to an unexpected end, Yamin assured supporters that she has no intention of abandoning her aspirations in international pageantry.

She expressed her determination to continue representing Lebanon through opportunities that align with her values and personal convictions.

“My pageant journey isn’t over. I will hold Lebanon’s name high alongside national directors who empower women through actions not just words,” she declared.

Yamin also delivered a powerful message to aspiring beauty queens, reminding them that personal dignity and integrity should never be sacrificed in pursuit of a prestigious title.

“No crown is worth sacrificing your voice, your dignity, or your rights,” she emphasized.

“To every girl dreaming of entering this industry always stand by your morals before any crown placed on your head.”

Before concluding her statement, Yamin thanked those who supported her throughout her preparation and extended her best wishes to the remaining Miss Earth 2026 delegates.

Her withdrawal highlights the importance of transparency, accountability, and the protection of candidates’ rights in international beauty competitions.

For Yamin, stepping away from the competition may have ended her pursuit of the Miss Earth crown this year, but it has also reinforced the message she hopes to share with aspiring beauty queens: integrity must always come before a title.
