Marinduque authorities inspect terminal ahead of expected influx
MARINDUQUE — Passenger movement at the Port of Balanacan remained orderly and uncongested on Monday, November 2, as authorities prepared for an expected influx of travelers at the close of the Undas break, the provincial government said.
Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer Maj. Juan Fernandez Jr. inspected the port on Monday to check operations and passenger flow.
The provincial government said it maintained coordination with the Philippine Ports Authority, Philippine National Police and Philippine Coast Guard to ensure order, security and passenger safety.
Travelers were urged to follow port regulations and cooperate with personnel overseeing terminal operations.
The advisory did not provide passenger figures or vessel departure information.
