Vaccination drive in Baseco
Manila City Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso, Vice Mayor Angeli Chi Atienza, and Health Secretary Edwin M. Mercado lead an influenza vaccination drive at the Amadome Covered Court in Tondo, Manila, on 30 October 2026. The initiative, led by the Department of Health (DOH) in coordination with the Manila City Government, aims to strengthen protection against influenza through vaccination and raise public awareness on prevention as cases continue to rise. Manila has recorded 2,692 influenza-like illness (ILI) cases since January, amid an 8% increase in cases nationwide.
