A fresh take on holiday styling for living spaces
European vintage finds, Filipino craftsmanship and sculptural accents come together in a refreshed Makati showroom.
A well-designed home is often defined by the details: the interplay of natural materials, the warmth of ambient lighting, the character of vintage furniture and the objects that make a space feel personal. These elements come together in the refreshed showroom of ITOKISH in Makati City, where a new spatial layout meets the brand’s 2026 Christmas collection.
The updated space brings together European mid-century vintage pieces, contemporary furniture, decorative objects and original designs by Ito Kish. With the holiday season approaching, the showroom offers ideas for creating interiors that feel warm and inviting, from thoughtfully arranged dining tables to sculptural lighting and festive accents.
The latest collection explores how traditional Filipino materials and craftsmanship can find a place in contemporary interiors.
The Halimuyak Fine Bone China Dinnerware Set, the brand’s fourth major tableware collection, features fine bone china in limited boxed sets of six. Designed for gatherings and everyday occasions alike, the collection brings understated elegance to the dining table.
Meanwhile, the Lawod Collection takes inspiration from the deep sea, incorporating multi-toned pen shell inlay into a series of decorative and functional pieces. Mirrors feature hand-bound rattan frames, while a sculptural table lamp uses translucent pen shell to diffuse light. A coordinating side table combines a minimalist tripod base with a built-in vase designed to hold a single stem.
Filipino heritage also informs the Pamana Wall Art, a series of etched metal panels that reinterpret traditional balusters, solihiya patterns and other architectural details as contemporary wall installations.
For a more understated decorative accent, the Busilak Bell Jar Lamp encloses its light within a display-inspired form, while the Tanglaw Ornaments pair cascading capiz shells with painted brass frames and festive red or green ribbons.
Furniture that makes a statement
Furniture can shape the character of a room without overwhelming it. In the showroom, sculptural silhouettes and natural finishes demonstrate how individual pieces can anchor a living space.
The Earthbound Table features solid wood, substantial pedestal legs and organic contours that highlight the material’s natural grain. Its low profile makes it a fitting centerpiece for a relaxed living room, particularly when paired with textured upholstery and understated accessories.
For a more defined look, the Anchor Table combines ebonized solid ash wood with a conical pedestal base and a shallow, tray-like top. Its restrained design allows it to complement different interior styles.
Lighting, meanwhile, serves as both a functional element and a decorative feature. The Luminous Lamp pairs oversized opal-white glass with a delicate wire frame, while the Gold Finial Lamp features an hourglass silhouette finished in antiqued gold leaf and topped with a tall rectangular shade.
These pieces illustrate how lighting can influence the atmosphere of a room, adding visual interest even when the rest of the furnishings remain simple.
Making room for holiday magic
As homes prepare for the holidays, seasonal decorating offers an opportunity to refresh familiar spaces without changing the entire interior.
The showroom’s Christmas tree collection includes The Silent Pine with Lights, available in 7- and 8-foot versions and accented with pinecones and micro-LED lights, and The Solstice Fir Tree with Lights, distinguished by its feathery silhouette and warm, firefly-like illumination.
Beyond the tree, decorative vessels and botanical arrangements provide flexible styling options. Frosted peach art glass and hand-built ceramic pottery in off-white glazes introduce subtle variations in color and texture, while artificial flowers, stems and greenery offer a lasting alternative for floral arrangements.
Rather than relying solely on traditional holiday colors, these pieces allow seasonal decorations to work alongside existing furnishings. Glass vessels, natural textures and warm lighting can create a festive atmosphere while maintaining a home’s established aesthetic.
Space for collecting and creating
From European mid-century vintage discoveries to original pieces inspired by Filipino design, the refreshed ITOKISH showroom brings together objects with distinct materials, forms and stories.
For homeowners looking to update their interiors, the collection offers inspiration for combining old and new, balancing statement furniture with smaller accents, and using lighting and natural textures to create a more inviting atmosphere.
The refreshed showroom and 2026 Christmas collection are now open to visitors in Makati City.
