The Aboitiz Group is promoting sustainability through job creation, renewable energy, essential services, education and environmental protection, highlighting how responsible business practices can benefit communities.

At the Institute of Corporate Directors’ 2026 Golden Arrow Awards, Aboitiz Equity Ventures and UnionBank each received four Golden Arrows, while AboitizPower earned three, recognizing their corporate governance standards.

Through its real estate developments, including LIMA Estate in Batangas and West Cebu Estate in Cebu, the group supports businesses that collectively provide around 100,000 jobs nationwide.

Its sustainability initiatives also include water reuse, composting and materials recovery at LIMA Estate. In Davao City, the Apo Agua bulk water facility uses hydropower to support treated water distribution to more than one million residents.

AboitizPower has added 846 megawatts of renewable energy capacity over the past four years through Aboitiz Renewables. Its Calatrava Solar Power Plant in Negros Occidental is the largest operating solar facility in the Visayas.

The group is also promoting recycling through the Tapon to Ipon program of Coca-Cola Europacific Aboitiz Philippines. Collected plastic bottles are processed into materials for new beverage bottles, while other recovered materials are used as alternative fuel in cement manufacturing.
