Unkabogable superstar Vice Ganda returns as host of the second season of LOL: Last One Laughing Philippines, bringing together 10 of the country’s funniest personalities for another unpredictable comedy showdown where a single laugh could cost them the competition.

Known for her spontaneous humor, sharp punchlines and impeccable comedic timing, Vice will once again oversee the contestants as they attempt to do the seemingly impossible: keep a straight face while surrounded by outrageous antics, hilarious impersonations and unexpected performances.

The much-awaited second season premieres on October 30, 2026, exclusively on Prime Video. The streaming platform recently unveiled the official trailer, offering a glimpse of the hilarious encounters and surprising twists awaiting viewers.

As host, Vice will serve as the competition’s ultimate observer, delivering witty commentary as the contestants struggle to suppress their laughter and outwit one another.

Joining the competition are veteran comedians Long Mejia, Epy Quizon, Candy Pangilinan, Ethel Booba and Pooh, alongside Donna Cariaga, Chariz Solomon, Esnyr, James Caraan and Charuth.

The diverse lineup brings together established comedy veterans and rising personalities, setting the stage for a clash of comedic styles, from slapstick and character impersonations to improvisation and humor popularized on social media.

Unlike conventional comedy competitions, where contestants are rewarded for making audiences laugh, LOL: Last One Laughing Philippines challenges participants to make their opponents laugh while keeping a straight face themselves.

For six hours, the 10 comedians will be confined to one location as cameras capture their every expression, reaction and attempt to maintain their composure. A single giggle or an uncontrollable smile could jeopardize their chances of staying in the competition.

To survive, contestants must rely on their creativity, quick thinking and comedic skills while avoiding the traps set by their fellow competitors.

The newly released trailer teases the unpredictable encounters ahead, featuring exaggerated characters, physical comedy, spontaneous performances and surprising interactions that put the contestants’ self-control to the test.

Beyond the comedy, the competition is also expected to showcase how friendships, rivalries and unexpected alliances unfold when some of the country’s most entertaining personalities go head-to-head.

Returning behind the scenes is original showrunner Randolph Longjas, who will once again lead the creative direction of the Philippine adaptation.

Produced by UXS Inc. (Unitel/Straight Shooters) for Amazon MGM Studios, the second season will be available to Prime Video subscribers in the Philippines and more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

The Philippine edition is based on Documental, the Japanese Prime Original series created by comedian Hitoshi Matsumoto and owned by Yoshimoto Kogyo.

The show's return underscores Prime Video’s continued investment in Filipino entertainment, giving established comedy stars and emerging talents another platform to showcase the country's diverse comedic talent to international audiences.

For Vice, whose career spans television, film and live performances, the new season offers another opportunity to celebrate Filipino comedy while presiding over a competition where even the smallest reaction could spell defeat.
