Jay-Z is set to take the Super Bowl LX stage as the headliner of the Apple Music Halftime Show, bringing one of hip-hop’s most influential voices to the world’s biggest sporting event.

The Grammy Award-winning rapper was revealed as the next halftime performer through a striking black-and-white announcement featuring the music icon in a New York Yankees cap and hoodie, accompanied by the Super Bowl LX Apple Music Halftime Show branding.

The performance is scheduled for 14 February 2027, at the Super Bowl LX in Los Angeles, where Jay-Z will join the long list of global superstars who have delivered unforgettable halftime performances.

A cultural force in music for more than three decades, Jay-Z has built a legacy with chart-topping hits including “Empire State of Mind,” “99 Problems” and “Run This Town.” He has earned 25 Grammy Awards and remains one of the most influential figures in hip-hop as a rapper, producer, entrepreneur and entertainment executive.

His Super Bowl appearance also marks a significant moment given his long-standing relationship with the NFL through his company Roc Nation, which has been involved in shaping the halftime show’s artist lineup since its partnership with the league began.
