Anti-mining protest in Pasay
Activists, environmental advocates, and allied groups clash with police during a protest outside a hotel in Pasay City on 27 October 2026, where the Mining Philippines 2026 International Conference is being held. Protesters denounce the conference as a platform for auctioning the country’s critical minerals to foreign investors.
