VinFast’s seven-seat VF MPV 7 has won the “Inspiring Product Service MPV EV of the Year” title at the 2026 Marketeers Editor’s Choice Awards in Indonesia, where the Vietnamese automaker continues to expand its electric vehicle business.

The award recognizes the electric MPV’s suitability for family use, particularly its passenger space and features designed for everyday travel.

Marketeers, an Indonesian marketing magazine, presents the annual awards to products and services that its editorial team considers noteworthy for their innovation and response to consumer needs. The VF MPV 7 was selected from a field that included products from international brands.

The vehicle measures 4,740 millimeters long, 1,872 mm wide and 1,734 mm tall. Its 2,840-mm wheelbase provides room for three rows of seats that can accommodate seven passengers.

MARKETEERS Editor’s Choice Award recognizes the VinFast VF MPV 7 as the Inspiring Product Service MPV EV of the Year in Indonesia.

VinFast has equipped the MPV with synthetic leather seats and separate air vents for all three rows. A 10.1-inch central touchscreen supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which allow occupants to access compatible smartphone applications through the vehicle’s display.

The VF MPV 7 also comes with an Indonesian-language virtual assistant and a smartphone application that allows owners to manage certain vehicle functions remotely. Driver assistance and safety features are included, although the announcement did not provide a complete list of these systems.

VinFast markets the model in Indonesia under the message “Jalani Hidup dengan Lega,” which translates to “Live Life with Ease and Comfort.” The campaign emphasizes the MPV’s passenger capacity and its use as a family vehicle for daily travel or longer journeys.

Arunodoy Das, chief executive officer of VinFast Indonesia, welcomed the recognition and said the company intends to make electric vehicles a more practical choice for Indonesian consumers.

He added that the VF MPV 7 was developed with the needs of families in mind, particularly those who want passenger space without giving up the convenience of electric mobility.

Apart from the vehicle itself, VinFast has introduced ownership benefits through its “Drive Worry Free” program in Indonesia.

Among the benefits are free charging at V-GREEN stations and a two-year complimentary battery subscription. The program also includes a residual value guarantee of up to 80 percent and a battery warranty policy.

The package is intended to address concerns about the cost of EV ownership, particularly battery expenses and vehicle resale value. However, the announcement did not specify all the conditions that apply to these benefits.

VinFast has been operating in Indonesia for more than two years and has continued to expand its vehicle lineup and distribution network.

The automaker has also invested in aftersales support, while V-GREEN has worked on expanding charging infrastructure across the country. These efforts are intended to give EV owners access to charging facilities and vehicle servicing as the brand reaches more customers.

The latest award adds to VinFast’s presence in Indonesia, where the company is seeking a larger share of the electric vehicle market.

With the VF MPV 7, VinFast is also reaching out to families who need the passenger capacity of a conventional MPV but would prefer an electric alternative.
