Three personalities have voiced out their opinion in the seemingly continuing saga that involved Kapuso actor Alden Richards and self-confessed scammer and "Pambansang Marites" Xian Gaza.

It all stemmed from Gaza’s explosive claim that Richards has not returned the condo unit he borrowed from a rich couple friend, along with the six luxury timepieces.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Atty. Jesus Falcis is baffled at the extended generosity of the couple towards the Kapuso actor.

“Why would a rich married couple financially support Alden Richards for free for 8-10 years?

“Let him stay in the couple’s condo rent free?

“Or let him borrow and (eventually) keep luxury watches without expecting anything in return?” Falcis asked.

“If a story sounds too good to be true, then it’s not true,” he declared.

Then came another question from him: “If Alden Richards kept six to eight luxury watches and did not return them, why wouldn’t a rich millionaire/billionaire couple not sue and file cases for theft or robbery?”

“Use your kokote (brain),” he finally wrote.

Just as baffled is veteran reporter and vlogger Ogie Diaz who, in a recent Facebook post, asked almost the same question as Falcis’.

“Nagtataka lang ako. Bakit kailangang pabanatan si Alden Richards dahil hindi nila mabawi sa aktor ang condo at mga relo? (I’m wondering. Why does it need someone to attack Alden Richards just because they won’t recover from the actor the condo and the watches?)" he wrote.

“Kung totoo lahat ang paratang, bakit di kayang bawiin? Dahil dun pa din ba nakatira si Alden hanggang ngayon (If all the allegations were true, why can they not recover it? Is it because Alden still lives there until now?),” Diaz asked.

Diaz said the owners have CCTV in the unit and the couple could have checked when was the last time Richards was there

“Kanya ang condo, siya ang may-ari. Di pala nagsosoli ng mga relo, eh bakit hindi mo idemanda (He owns the condo, he is the owner. He’s not returning the watches, why not sue him),” Diaz asked.

Diaz harped about Richards’ good traits — the he knows how to be grateful to those with him when he was just starting and that he’s helped so many, he has scholars.

“Andaming negosyo ni Alden; ilan ang bahay, ilan ang condo — so ba’t naman niya aangkinin ang condo na 'di naman kanya at ayaw pa niyang umalis doon talaga, huh! Hahahaha! (Alden has so many businesses, how many houses, how many condos — so why would he claim the condo that’s really not his and he does not want to leave really),” Diaz wrote.

With that, Diaz believes that netizens were doubtful of the motive of Gaza’s narrative.

In the end, Diaz claimed his defense of Richards was not a paid one.

Meanwhile, TV entertainment reporter, Nelson Canlas, posted a photo of Richards driving for him with this caption: “Funny how life puts us in different seats. Yesterday was one of those days. He was my 'driver.' Lol.”

“We’ve been friends for years, and sometimes I wish people could see the person I’ve come to know beyond the spotlight. I’ve seen him give so much of himself, sometimes even more than he could afford to give, leaving little or even none for himself. That’s something I’ve always admired about him,” Canlas wrote about Richards

“I won’t pretend to know everything, and I don’t have to. I just know that, in all the years I’ve known him, his heart has always been in the right place,” he added.
