Jane Oineza turns pain to power
The series explores a woman’s journey from submission to self-reclamation as Jane’s character rises from a devoted homemaker into a confident and determined woman.
Jane Oineza enters the world of vertical series as a betrayed wife who transforms heartbreak into revenge in the newest drama, The Perfect Wife, premiering all episodes on 30 October.
While it is a story about infidelity, the series explores a woman’s journey from submission to self-reclamation as Jane’s character rises from a devoted homemaker into a confident and determined woman ready to take back control of her life.
Produced by JRB Creative Production, The Perfect Wife follows Jem (Jane), a successful woman who sacrifices her career to focus on building a family with her husband Aries (Rafael Rosell). But her world falls apart after discovering that Aries is having an affair with socialite Rafaela (Aya Fernandez).
Heartbroken and devastated, Jem initially struggles to accept the betrayal. However, she soon decides to rebuild herself and fight back — not by chasing her husband’s love, but by becoming the strongest version of herself.
Along the way, Jem meets Diane (Tootsy Angara), a divorcee who becomes her mentor and fairy-godmother figure, guiding her through her transformation as she prepares to expose Aries and Rafaela’s affair.
With its themes of empowerment, revenge and reinvention, The Perfect Wife marks Jane’s latest acting challenge as she portrays a woman reclaiming her identity after being pushed aside.
The series is iWant’s newest affair drama in vertical format, following the success of Twist of Fate, which starred Rafael Rosell alongside Yen Santos, Angelica Lao and Tony Labrusca.
