A man easily stuffed clothes into three rolling suitcases inside a Marshalls store in Paramus, New Jersey, USA, on 2 October, skipping the cashier counter entirely.

Unknown to the shoplifter, Marshalls clerks had alerted the police, who were about to enter the store as he was about to exit. When the shoplifter saw the cops, he abandoned the luggage and fled, NJ.com reported.

Paramus Police Chief Robert Guidetti told NJ.com that the suspect ran hunched over, at times hiding between parked cars, toward a green Dodge Charger with North Carolina plates parked near Route 17.

But before the shoplifter could jump into the car, its driver drove off, Guidetti said, according to NJ.com. Pursuing officers soon caught the suspect, who was forced to flee on foot.

Meanwhile, in Tempe, Arizona, a burglar hit a tech office near University Drive and State Route 143 around 2 a.m. on 4 October.

A CCTV camera inside the office caught the man breaking the window and reaching for nearby boxes of Mac Mini computers, Fox 10 Phoenix reported.

The security video showed the thief sticking half of his body through the blinds and shoving dozens of Mac Mini computer boxes out the window, according to the report.

When workers arrived, the broken window shocked them, but they were relieved to find the computers still inside the office.

“He stole empty boxes. Everyone was laughing about it,” employee Curran Rose told Fox 10.

The office reported the burglary to police, and the business owner offered a $1,500 reward to anyone with information that would lead to the identification and arrest of the thief in the video, according to Fox 10.
