Premier developer Empire East Land Holdings Inc. marked a major construction milestone with the topping off of The Paddington Place, a four-tower residential development along Shaw Boulevard in Mandaluyong City.

Held under the theme “The NEXUS: Reaching the Summit of Convergence,” the ceremony celebrated the collective efforts of the developer, contractor, engineers and project teams whose dedication and expertise brought the development closer to completion.

After a Thanksgiving Mass, Empire East President and CEO Anthony Charlemagne C. Yu reflected on the journey that brought The Paddington Place to this achievement and the company’s commitment to completing the development and welcoming its future residents.

The program continued with a visit to The Gallery on the 45th floor, showcasing the project’s construction highlights and panoramic views of the cityscape, before culminating in the ceremonial topping off at the roof deck, led by executives of Empire East and its construction partner, Metro Stonerich Corporation.

Strengthening Mandaluyong legacy

The topping off of The Paddington Place adds to Empire East’s extensive development track record in Mandaluyong City, where the company has completed 40 residential towers.

Over its 32 years in the Philippine real estate industry, Empire East has built a portfolio of 166 residential towers across its developments, 122 of which have been completed and turned over to homebuyers.

This established presence reflects the company’s long-standing commitment to providing quality residential communities in key urban locations, as well as the continued confidence of Filipino homebuyers in the brand.

The Paddington Place represents another significant addition to this legacy, bringing the company closer to introducing a new residential landmark along one of Mandaluyong City’s major thoroughfares.

Moving toward a thriving community

While the topping off signals significant progress in construction, Empire East emphasized that its priorities remain focused on completing the development, ensuring the smooth turnover of residential units and welcoming homebuyers into their new homes.

“Today, we celebrate reaching the top of The Paddington Place. But our greater achievement will come when we open its doors to the families who will call it home,” Yu said.

Strategically located along Shaw Boulevard, The Paddington Place is envisioned as a contemporary urban community that combines residential living with convenient access to business districts, commercial establishments and transportation networks.

The development also features ground-level retail spaces designed to accommodate businesses and services that cater to residents’ daily needs and contribute to the vibrancy of the surrounding neighborhood. The second level houses the Empire East Corporate Office, while the seventh level is dedicated to recreational amenities.

Beyond construction and turnover, Empire East remains committed to the long-term management and maintenance of the development, ensuring that The Paddington Place continues to provide a quality living environment as its residential and commercial communities grow.
