What happens when a romance designed to boost online popularity starts stirring real emotions?

Shuvee Etrata and Anthony Constantino explore that question in From Vlog to Love, the romantic comedy that moves from digital screens to free television on GMA Network on 25 October.

Playing Angge and Bullet, the Sparkle stars lead a story about the messy intersection of social media ambitions and matters of the heart. Their characters’ relationship begins with an ulterior motive, setting the stage for a romance in which not everything is as it seems.

The story follows Angge, a hardworking college intern who catches the attention of Bullet, a demanding Filipino-American resort owner. His attempt to win her over is tied to a plan to revive his online presence, complicating what could otherwise be a straightforward love story.

Beyond the romantic comedy’s playful “AFAM meets Bisdak” premise, the series taps into a familiar modern dilemma: in a world where content is carefully curated and moments can be turned into viral material, it can be difficult to tell when a connection is genuine.

The project also represents an important step in Etrata’s acting career, marking her first solo starring role. Constantino, meanwhile, believes their real-life rapport helped make their onscreen romance convincing.
