COMELEC decommissions Automated Election System (AES) servers
The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) began decommissioning its Automated Election System (AES) servers and network infrastructure at Data Center 3 in Makati City on 22 October 2026. The facility housed transparency servers used by political parties, media outlets, and citizens’ arms, including PPCRV and NAMFREL, to monitor the first Bangsamoro Parliamentary Elections on 24 September.
