Nick Briones hold a press conference to announce his three days Pig Holiday plan on Thursday to Saturday, Briones stated that all hog raisers are expected to participate, and it is entirely voluntarily, on Wednesday October 21 2026 in Quezon City. The pig holiday is aims to convey their sentiments and the challenges they face—specifically, severe financial losses and the impact of pork imports—to the gernment, they also announce of the peaceful rally by the various hog raisers set on Friday at the Department of Agriculture office in Quezon City, between 800 to 1000 hog raisers are expected to participate to call the government to lower the tariff from 30 to 40% and to stop the importation.
