Jim Paredes shares zero electric bill after switching to solar

OPM legend Jim Paredes celebrated getting his first zero electric bill after installing solar panels at home.

On Instagram, Paredes shared a photo of his zero bill, a significant drop from his previous monthly electricity expenses of P5,000 to P7,000.

He said the solar panels helped reduce his electricity costs even as he continued using air conditioning for five to seven hours during the day.

“First time I got a ZERO bill. Yehey,” Paredes wrote, expressing his gratitude for solar power.

“Thank you solar power,” he added, noting that his monthly electric bill used to range from P5,000 to P7,000 before he installed solar panels.
