ALLHC attracts Taiwanese solar firm
AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corp. (ALLHC) is expanding its industrial park tenant base with Taiwanese solar float manufacturer Suntoward Tech Philippine Inc. securing facilities in Pampanga and Batangas for its Philippine operations and planned expansion.
Suntoward will lease more than 3,800 square meters of gross leasable space at ALogis Mabalacat 1 in Pampanga Technopark, where production is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2027. It has also secured a long-term lease for an 8,200-square-meter industrial lot at Batangas Technopark.
The agreement strengthens ALLHC’s efforts to attract businesses involved in emerging industries, including renewable energy manufacturing, to its industrial developments.
Suntoward will manufacture, fabricate and assemble high-density polyethylene floats, support structures and mounting hardware for floating solar photovoltaic systems. Its products will serve renewable energy developers, engineering, procurement and construction contractors, and industrial clients in the Philippines and overseas.
ALLHC chief operating officer Patrick Avila said the company’s industrial facilities aim to support businesses establishing or expanding their operations in the country.
“By providing industrial facilities in strategic regional locations, we aim to support businesses as they establish operations, expand capacity, and serve their markets,” Avila said.
Located within Pampanga Technopark, ALogis Mabalacat 1 offers access to the North Luzon Expressway and Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway, as well as Clark International Airport.
Batangas Technopark, located in Padre Garcia, Batangas, will accommodate Suntoward’s planned expansion.
The agreement marks Suntoward’s first operational site in the Philippines and its initial partnership with ALLHC.
